Indranath, our Founder CEO has close to 25 years of experience and drives the vision, ethos and strategy of Helium Consulting while leading the operational leadership. Since the last more than 15 years, he has defined and built Helium's offerings and relationships closely with his team, customers and partners. He founded Helium Consulting to create a mix of manufacturing techniques and software technology for the process industry that would enable Design and Operating companies to get unprecedented value from both these. He has since created an ecosystem- of partners, customers, a core team- that are defining new frontiers in this mission through a combined offering of industry, domain and software knowledge.
Helium today is a accepted leader which has executed highly successful projects delivering millions of dollars of bottomline benefits to its customers. This has also led to some of the most sustainable relationships that both Helium and our customers have cherished over time. This ethos defined by Indranath towards high quality and benefits-oriented work has endeared us towards Fortune 1000 companies globally with our presence now in multiple countries in Asia, Europe and Middle-east. Most recently we have also entered the USA market.
Dr V Premnath advises Helium Consulting on Strategic technology and business direction as an Honorary Advisory board director for several years now. Dr Premnath is currently the Head, NCL Innovations – the group within National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) charged with the responsibility of championing the cause of technology innovation within NCL. Dr Premnath provides leadership for the Intellectual Property Group at NCL – one of India’s leading IP management groups based out of research institutions. Dr Premnath is the Founding Director of the Venture Center – a technology business incubator on NCL campus and he is also the Founding Director of CSIR-Tech Pvt Ltd – a technology commercialization company. Dr Premnath is a Scientist, Polymer Science & Engineering Division at NCL with an interest in technology development for biomedical products. Dr. Premnath holds a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology - IIT-Bombay and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. He has also been a Chevening Technology Enterprise Fellow with the Centre for Scientific Enterprises, London Business School and Cambridge University, UK.
David advises Helium on supply chain technology and best practices. David currently works with various companies to optimize their supply chains using mathematical techniques like Linear Programming, Statistics, and Simulation as well as Best Practices. He has spent his entire career involved in the use or design of operation research tools to optimize the supply chains of manufacturing companies. At ExxonMobil, he started by designing models to optimize the configuration of new or expanding oil refineries. During his nearly 20 year caerer he scheduled oil refineries, shipping fleets, and participated in the design of the computer system that became the basis for all of Exxon's refinery planning models world-wide. He was also the manager of the corporate division that developed operations research applications for affiliates world-wide. In 1985, David left ExxonMobil to join Chesapeake Decision Sciences. As one of the initial employees, he worked to design the suite of products now known as Aspen SCM. He managed the in-house team that was responsible using this new system to build applications for their customers. When Chesapeake was purchased by AspenTech, he continued to manage the customer application development. David became the VP of the supply chain division before leaving AspenTech. David holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and is based in New York City.
Kaushik is a partner in the London-based law firm Trinity International LLP and advises Helium on various business matters, particularly in relation to its foreign partnerships, joint ventures and potential future transactions. Kaushik trained and qualified as a solicitor at the multinational law firm Allen & Overy LLP, working in its energy and infrastructure teams in London and Paris before moving to Trinity in 2009. Kaushik has experience in all forms of foreign direct investment and advises private companies, financial institutions and governments on project, corporate and property finance transactions across a range of sectors, including transport, ports, telecoms, commodities, oil and gas, power, financial institutions, film, leisure and industrials. Kaushik has transactional experience in the major economic centres of Africa, South and South East Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East as well as in Western Europe, the US and Central America. Kaushik is a regular speaker at conferences and events (including the World Bank and the European Commission). Kaushik received his LLB (Hons) from the University of London (King’s College) with a Diploma in European Legal Studies from the University of Strasbourg. Kaushik qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and was admitted to the State Bar of New York in 2007 as well. He speaks English, French and Italian.
